Celebrating your relationship for just one day during February is a thing of the past in Darling Harbour. Now, there's a whole month of activities all about love that you can to enjoy with your partner. They run from Saturday February 7 to Saturday March 7.

Head down to Cockle Bay on Fridays or Saturdays and you can enjoy the Loved Up Fireworks 9.00pm to 9.15pm. They can be personally curated if you're after something romantic (or even a proposal).

In the evening you can Row Your Way to Romance in row boats perfect for two while surrounded by floating love hearts. The boats can be hired from 6.00pm every day but Monday and cost $30.00 for 45 minutes.

New to this year's event will be The Lanterns of Love (which is also part of the Chinese Lantern Festival). It will involve hand-written messages floating down the Urban Stream.

Nearby you can get your picture taken at the Pash n' Dash station, by wandering Handpicked Wines roaming love ambassadors or along the Love is in the Air – Framed Fotobooths at Pyrmont Bridge and Cockle Bay Wharf (this last one is only on Valentine's Day).

Light installations, romantic movies and more will be over at the Darling Quarter, while there will be a pulsating double love heart suspended under the expressway.

On Pyrmont Bridge, you can get serenaded on Saturday evenings. Or you can enjoy a tribute to Freddie Mercury on Sunday March 1.

Some interesting fun runs will be held as part of The Month of Love. Runaway Bride requires you to dress as a bride and will kick of the entire month's events when it's held on Saturday February 7, from 10.00am to 11.30am. Money raised will go to Ovarian Cancer Australia . There's then a Little Black Dress Run to raise funds for the Sydney Children's Hospital's Camp Goodtime. It will be held on Sunday March 1, 10.00am to 12.00pm.

Rounding out the month's events are the Mardi Gras celebrations at the tail end of The Month of Love. Drag performances will pop up in the evenings around Harbourside Shopping Centre and Palm Grove between Tuesday February 24 and Thursday February 26 and Tuesday March 3 and Thursday March 5. A family friendly Mardi Gras event will then be held on Sunday March 1.
