Making an Impression
The Art Gallery of NSW is hosting an exhibition of 29 paintings by the acclaimed impressionist Claude Monet, the father of the French Impressionist movement of painting.
The paintings are on loan from the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and along with Monet the exhibition will include works by his contemporary impressionists Cézanne, Manet, Degas, Pissarro, Renoir and Sisley.
The exhibition will run until the 26th of January, 2009.
Some of the paintings in the exhibition are truly beautiful and you should try to catch it while it's in town. Otherwise you'll have to wait until you are next in Boston.
