Do you want to take a sneak peek inside the new hospital? Well, you can by registering for a 15 minute walk-through before it opens for patients. Tours will be available every 15 minutes. Places are filling fast, so book online in advance here to avoid disappointment on the day. It is recommended that you wear closed-in flat shoes. Also, please print off your booking form and bring it along with you on the day.
MUMUS Teddy Bear Hospital will also have a marquee on the day. This very special Teddy Bear Hospital is run by medical students from Monash University. They aim to alleviate the fear children often feel when visiting doctors. Children bring along their own teddy bears for a check-up and the medical students act as their doctors. Through role-play scenarios, such as examination of eyes and ears and using asthma devices, children learn in a fun way to trust medical professionals rather than fear them.
Why not bring along your own teddy bear on the day and say hello to the team at the MUMUS Teddy Bear Hospital marquee?
