Mizuya is a Japanese karaoke bar/ restaurant on George Street Sydney. Now if your underage and bored out of your mind looking for places to go and things to do that dont involve having screaming children following you, as all screaming children seem to be conspiring against you at this age, I suggest Mizuya as a pleasant and fun escape.
Though all the workers speak either Japanese or a heavily accented form of English, they are always happy to serve and obey what you ask polietly of them. The karaoke itself is one of the best in Sydney. Being a rather connoisseur of karaoke bars in Sydney and having been to some rather dodgy places, Mizuya's high tech song selection system is far easier than the older generations of karaoke.
Mizuya offers a special deal, if you get in before 5:30, were if you pay $20 each person, you will get the room free of charge for two hours. The catch is, with the collected amount of money there is for each person, you must spend that money on food and drinks. Now to some this may sound hard or dreary, but believe me, the money will fly away. The food and 'Mocktails' are delicious, especially if you like your Japanese food from time to time.
So if your ever bored and need a fun and loud thing to do, grab a bunch of friends and head down to Mizuya:
