A charming little restaurant tucked away in the inner city suburb of Chippendale,
Mission Restaurant and Bar stands unique as it is an art gallery and an eatery combined.
Its upstairs loft is beautifully appointed with art by some of the country's most renowned artists, as well as some up-and-coming artists. Mission is the result of a joint venture by leading restaurateur Pierra Potter and well known art dealer
Nicky Ginsberg.
The restaurant's head chef David Walker is a pro at Mediterranean dishes which are served traditionally yet with a modern twist. Not only does Mission suit for intimate dinners, it is ideal for celebrating on special occasions and friendly gatherings.
The art gallery can be enjoyed before or after the meal with a glass of wine and nibbles. The gallery also runs workshops on a regular basis run by a variety of different artists and is suitable for everyone, from beginners to the experienced. Following the workshop, guests are treated to a two course meal with a glass of wine.
