The infamous Miss Kays Burgerbar has moved to the burbs, opening its Mitchelton store on Wednesday,21 September 2016. A meal at Miss Kay's Burgerbar is not for the faint hearted. It boasts a menu of monster burgers (including the Poutine Burger, Austin Flowers and Mac Daddy). Burgers start from $12.00 for a cheeseburger. Why not challenge your friends (and yourself) to the Big Kay's challenge – a burger with 5 patties, 5 slices of cheese, tomato, lettuce, sauce and fries ($35.00). Whoa. I feel full just thinking about it.



Of course, what's a burger without Americana style classics sides straight from the diner like crispy fried wings, onion rings and French fries.

Miss Kays is licenced so beers are at hand to wash down the burgers. For something lighter, the milkshakes pay homage to American music idols from Chuck Berry, Elvis and James Brownie. Yes, that's Brownie. And for something fizzy, there's even soda pops!



The venue has a large indoor and outdoor seating area. Glossy black subway tiles, bench seating and red stools finish off the laid back style and hanging baskets give a touch of green. Miss Kays is directly opposite the Mitchelton train station and street parking is available in Blackwood Street - a shopping and village precinct.
Being such a fun venue, Miss Kays caters to functions from corporate events to birthday parties.



If you are up for the challenge, its best to come to Miss Kay's with a monster sized appetite and leave your diet at the door.
