Strathalbyn is a beautiful hills town and one of its best kept secrets is the Memorial Park and Gardens. It is very easy to find and is located on Commercial Road.

These gardens are a great place to visit any time of year. There are huge green areas for kicking the football or a game of cricket.
Take a picnic lunch and a blanket or make use of the modern BBQ facilities available to the public. There are plenty of tables and seating so you don't need to worry about that.

The kids will have great fun on the play equipment and it is suitable for all ages. The park itself is situated along the Angus river, one of the state's first places of settlement for the early pioneers. The Memorial Park at Strathalbyn is a great location for your next family reunion, birthday celebration or just a fun day out.
