Chocolate Lovers Rejoice!

The will be held over two indulgent days; Saturday 8th August and Sunday 9th August, 2015, at the Docklands, Melbourne, with fireworks heralding the opening of the Festival on Friday 7th August at 7.30pm.


Start your 'Melt Away' experience on Friday 7th August from 6.30pm with the opening of the Festival and watch the fireworks commence from 7.30pm.

On Saturday 8th August, from 10am to 10pm, your chocolate lovers experience will come to fruition as you participate in activities from Chocoholic Tours, Chocolate Workshops and Master Classes. Sip on indulgent hot chocolate as you decide on what to eat from the Tasting Bar, while waiting for the kids as they enjoy the kid's entertainment, or as you stroll through the Chocolate Fair at The NewQuay Piazza.

CHOCOLATE WORKSHOPS AND MASTER CLASSES
Where? Library at The Dock, 107 Victoria Harbour Promenade

You can purchase your tickets in advance. The Chocolate Workshops and Master Classes include;

Bean to Bar Workshop: Origins and Processes of Chocolate by Sissy's Gourmet Delight (Saturday 8th August, 10am to 11.15am), Master Class 1: Basic Chocolate Making Techniques by Daintree Estate (Saturday 8th August, 11.30am to 12.30pm), Master Class 2: Mexican Day of the Dead - Chocolate Skulls by Brenda Yvonne (Saturday 8th August, 11.45am to 1.45pm), The Chocolate Lovers Kitchen Christmas Tree Workshop (Sunday 9th August, 10.15 to 11.15am), and The Ancient Origins of Chocolate and Traditional Aztec Preparation by Tonantzin (Sunday 9th August, 11.30am to 12.30pm).



**TASTING BARS
Where? The NewQuay Piazza, 1/401 Docklands Drive, Docklands**

You can pre-purchase tickets to experience the Tasting Bar session which is designed to pair exquisite chocolate with an amazing beverage and flavour combination. You can try Belgian Beers from Palm Breweries paired with pralines made by Master Chef Filip Tibos, Champagne Pommery with chocolates from Sisko Chocolate, a range of home-grown origins by Daintree Estate, and whisky paired with Sisko Chocolate pralines. Tasting Bars are restricted to 18 years plus, and by purchasing your ticket online you can receive 50% off your general admission ticket.

**CHOCOHOLIC TOURS
Where? The NewQuay Piazza, 1/401 Docklands Drive, Docklands**

Learn about the process of making divine chocolate. Go on a mini chocolate plantation journey as you learn about the raw cacao bean and see the raw product become an amazing chocolate product.Try out chocolate tasting techniques and eat chocolate! Chocolate! Chocolate!

Your own personal Chocolate Tour Guide will guide you around the Festival as you taste delicious goodies from 5 chocolatiers. Your tour also includes;
a bottle of water, an ''I'm a Chocoholic badge', a tasting bag, special offers from each Chocolatier, and a chocolate beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
Tours are 1.5 hours in duration and bookings are essential.

There will also be; kid's entertainment which consists of art and craft activities while you attend workshops, a Smooth FM Chocolate Lounge, and a Chocolate Milk Bar.
