Melbourne Queer Film Festival at M.A.D.E

The Melbourne Queer Film Festival (MQFF) is making its debut at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka (MADE) in Ballarat on 31 May to 1 June.

The program was selected by the Festival Director Lisa Daniel and includes the opening and the closing movies from the recent 24th MQFF which ran in March this year.

MQFF first started in 1991 and is the oldest queer film festival in Australia, and is the largest queer film festival in the southern hemisphere.

The program kicks off on 31 May with a screening of "Any Day Now" starring Alan Cumming and and Garret Dillahunt.

On 1 June, there is two movie showings taking place including 2014 Shorts Compilation, a package of Australian short films and "Reaching for the Moon" featuring Australia's own Miranda Otto and Glória Pires.

There are two tickets options available, purchase a single session or a movie pass featuring all three movies.

Come and celebrate the MQFF in Ballarat by attending this inaugural event at MADE on 31 May to 1 June.
