It's time to spring into spring - well almost - with the
Herald Sun Home Show & Garden Expo Bursting with ideas and inspiration to spritz up the home and garden, it's on from August 20th to the 23rd at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre in Southbank.
Let's face it. We'd all like to beautify our homes and gardens in some way or other. If you don't have a garden, pampered balconies and window sills are the next best thing.
If this enormous gathering of gorgeous kitchens, brilliant
bathrooms, renovator ideas, and luxurious outdoor living options on show at the
Garden Stage don't inspire you, I'm afraid nothing will.
And, of course, there are all things green, eco-friendly and water-saving to accommodate our changing environment.
The show always has a huge Wow-factor. You kind of walk around agog at the possibilities.
While you might not be ready for an enormous, expensive addition to your home, there's plenty on offer to give your place that special touch, like affordable home furnishings and decorator items, or maybe some bright, blooming potted flowers for a colourful spring splash.
There's also
Wine & Dine, where chefs will be cooking up a storm - while you engage in free (after entry) food and wine matching sessions and cheese tastings.
Maybe arrange a play-date for the kids if possible, so you can wander, shop and dream at your leisure. If not, there's plenty of kids' entertainment to keep the little cherubs chirpy.
