This year's Fringe promises to be more diverse, inventive and surprising than ever. Featuring thousands of artists in hundreds of different shows,
events span the entire arts spectrum. Kick your heals up to some cabaret, get silly at a circus, and get all those good endorphins flowing with some fabulous comedy.
There's dance, music, visual arts, live art, performance and much more. If you can't find something you like amidst all that, there must be something wrong.
Not only does Fringe see Melbourne come alive with a wide range of fabulous entertainment, plenty of it is free, with one-third of last year's events costing nada.
There are some fabulous
special events too, like
Disco Mongolia and
Fan Tales, which will have Buffy, Star Wars and Harry Potter fans glued to their seats.
There's also a jam-packed
kid-friendly program to keep the littlies entertained. Stars include puppets, clowns and super heroes. Super!
The
North Melbourne Festival Hub will be a-buzz with energy, activity and hilarity as artists and festival-goes alike converge for plenty of entertainment, shows and exhibitions, while plenty of other events will be taking place all over town.
