Wine lovers and country adventurers, this one is for you. Join in with The Maid on a fantastic wine tour through beautiful McLaren Vale on Sunday, 7th June.

Back by popular demand, this tour will have you visiting three amazing wineries that will tantalise your tastebuds with their delectable drops. Leave the designated driver at home; this tour includes all transfers by deluxe coach from The Maid, so you can safely enjoy a few drinks with friends. Soak up the atmosphere and entertainment at renowned McLaren Vale wineries, including Coriole, Alpha Box & Dice, and V. Mitolo & Sons. Tickets are $90pp, and include a commemorative glass, your first pour at each winery, and exclusive access to The Maid's awesome after party.

The Maid is located at 1 Magill Road, Stepney, and offers everything from live and acoustic entertainment, to bistro and function options. As hosts of the event, they will be happy to share their knowledge about the wineries with you, and you'll also have access to their exclusive after party, after the tour. Chill out in the beer garden with friends, or hit the dance floor for some of their latest dance hits.

The tour will meet at The Maid at 8am, but we recommend getting there about 15 minutes beforehand. You'll be picked up and dropped off at this location, so make sure you have organised appropriate transport to and from the event. Ticket collection is also from The Maid, and you will be notified once they are available for collection. Tickets are very limited and will sell out, so secure yours here .

Haven't heard of the wineries? Even more reason to go. See below for further details on each stop for the day:

Coriole

It's all about Shiraz at Coriole. With the original vineyards planted in the 1940's after the first World War, Coriole released their first wine - the Claret (Shiraz) - in 1970. They also specialise in Italian varieties, such as Barbera, Sangiovese, and Fiano. We highly recommend you try the Barbera. Lunch is available at Coriole's restaurant if you are feeling peckish.

Alpha Box & Dice

The story of this winery will leave you enchanted, and each glass will have you wanting to try another. Alpha Box & Dice is a relative newcomer when it comes to wineries, only opening in 2008, but with a complexity of wine-making history and stories behind it. Also delving into the Italian varieties, there is one in particular that is a must-try; the Multipulciano, for something a little different.

You may have also seen the label around a few venues in Adelaide, including at Rocket Rooftop Cinema this year, of which they were popular sponsors.

V. Mitolo and Sons

It's all about family and tradition at this winery: generations of techniques and tips passed down through time, and now run by a father and son team. They believe that good wine should be shared and enjoyed with family and friends, so you can be sure to have a great time with everyone on the tour. Their wines have even been featured in New York. The wine you'll be hanging out for is the Royal Governor Shiraz - made with more love than the amount of food your Nonna can cook.

Now that these amazing wineries have your attention, make sure you grab your tickets. Tours are a great opportunity to try something new, broaden your palate, and fall in love with the region that is McLaren Vale.
