Not content with being one of the most beautiful lakes and park areas in Perth, on Saturday 24th October, Lake Monger will transform into one of the largest markets as part of the annual Garage Sale Trail.

You can join in either as a buyer or seller – and the day promises to be full of free entertainment and excitement including food stalls, kids activities and entertainment.



There will be free workshops during the day plus the opportunity to bag a bargain (or make some quick cash).

The Garage Sale Trail has produced a number of helpful guides directed at the various groups involved in the Trail – so if you are a family, a school or a community group thinking of getting involved, click here to download your free guide or click here for some tips when running a second hand stall .

Last year households made an average of $273 while school groups made almost $2,000 on average – a good return on a few hours work.

Registration for sellers opens on August 10th at www.garagesaletrail.com or buyers can just head along on the day to the lake Monger Reserve between 8am and 1pm.

Last year the Garage Sale Trail incorporated over 8,000 garage sale in over 150 council areas, and was visited by over one third of a million people.

Parking will be limited but it is an easy walk from the Leederville Train Station.
