Juliet Capulet once asked, 'What's in a name?' This is obviously a question the organisers of the hip new markets in West End pondered - and they came up with something just as funky as the event they describe.
The
Marky Markets are setting up outside
The Hi-Fi
(
125 Boundary Street, West End) in West End on the third Sunday of every month. Billed as a vintage and handmade market (because West End doesn't already have
enough of
those), this exciting new retail opportunity presents a massive selection of goods - homewares, crafts, books, vinyl, knick-knacks, clothing and shoes, just to name a few. Food and drinks are also available.
Organisers are still seeking stall holders so if you've got something appropriate that you'd like to sell, let them know via the website.
With a cruisy starting time of 10.00am, not to mention a funky retro throwback name, the Marky Markets are guaranteed to attract a huge Gen X and Y crowd.
