If you find yourself in Manly on the weekend make sure you have a looksee around the Manly Arts & Craft Market.

There are enough stalls to keep you entertained for an hour or two and you'll find everything from handmade candles and soaps, to photography, sculpture, clothes, paintings, and a quite a bit more which defies categorisation.

One good thing about the Manly markets is that unlike most Sydney markets they are open on Saturday and Sunday so there is no need to plan a special trip.

A great day would be beach in the morning before it's too hot, a light lunch at one of Manly's great restaurants, and then an hour or two wandering around the market.

Why? Makes a day at the beach more interesting.
