Are you into some ghoulish fun this Halloween? Do you love to dress up in your favourite spooky costume? Then head down to Manly Harbour Village on Saturday November 1 for the 2014 Halloween Street Party from 11am to 9pm.

The 2014 festival will see thousands watch or be part of the evening parade in their ghoulish best outfits from traditional Halloween garb to Thriller aka Michael Jackson and even the odd Batman and Star Wars characters.

This year's programme includes:

11am – 9pm Amusements including a giant Ferris wheel that will take visitors up from Friday to Sunday for views over Manly Harbour and to Moreton Island.

Musical entertainment is at two venues from 1 pm with the School Band Stage (Stratton Terrace) and from 3 pm is the Main Stage on the Esplanade where more entertainment will be provided.

Those that have made a big effort to dress up should be down between 4pm to 6pm for the Costume judging where the best dressed adult and best dressed child will win prizes provided by the Manly Harbour Village Traders.

The Manly Creative Markets will be open and there will be plenty of children's rides and amusements for everyone.

Soon after 6pm as dusk comes down over Manly and its beautiful harbour the main attraction is the Street Parade where Cambridge Parade and the Esplanade come alive in a blaze of sound and colour. Bands, entertainers, and classic cars including a Cadillac hearse accompany the array of ghouls and spooks….

At 9pm fireworks over the harbour will bring a colourful end to the day.

The 2014 event will have festivities over three days starting with an appropriately spooky movie on Friday 31 October itself. From 6.30pm Little Bayside Park adjacent to Manly Harbour will have a FREE showing of the popular MONSTERS VERSUS ALIENS as part of its HALLOWEEN night Movies in the Park. Normally a movie night tradition on the first Saturday of the month, this special showing on Friday will allow movie fans to enjoy this family fun movie.

The giant Ferris wheel will be open on Friday to Sunday which will also host the Manly Creative markets on the Sunday.
