The centrepiece of the Sydney FAME Mandolin Festival week is the upcoming Gala Concert to be held on Saturday July 11th at the Gillian Moore Centre for Performing Arts in Pymble Ladies College.This special live music event will commence at 7.30pm and showcase an orchestra of 70 mandolin players from all over Australia and New Zealand.Throughout the evening audiences will be delighted by an eclectic music programme, featuring contemporary mandolin music, with some written especially for the festival, including several Australian premieres.The concert is the culmination of a week of intensive rehearsing under the baton of Festival Conductor, Werner Ruecker.Tickets are now sale through Trybooking . Tickets are priced $25 Full Price and $20 Concession. Children under 15 years of age receive free entry.
