420 Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley) is similar to many other inner city bars, with its stylish minimalist interior, long list of cleverly named cocktails and quirky What's On schedule. But Mana Bar isn't like every other city bar, because Mana Bar is Australia's first video game bar.
This is the place to unleash your inner gaming dork without shame or fear of humiliation. Enjoy a Princess Peach or Health Tonic cocktail while you play one of the many Xbox, Playstation, Wii and arcade games on offer; in some circumstances, you may be able to play games before they are released to the public. You can also purchase video games from behind the counter.
The Mana Bar is open from 5.00pm until midnight seven days a week and is perhaps the only argument for leaving your home to play video games.
