This four day festival will be held in the area of Carisbrook - Maryborough. Essentially, it is a massive camp out escape for city dwellers, born out of the intent to encourage celebration of life, self expression and freedom.
Event goers are urged to attend with an open mind as Maitreya offers a platform for new ways to interact and appreciate our surrounding community. Immerse yourself in the energy and vibe of a mass camping festival focused on learning.
A full free program will be offered on each day of the event from dawn until dusk and other additional services will be offered for a small cost. An impressive array of wisdom from around the globe will be assembled for festival goers to enjoy. everything from healthy living, to didgeridoo, from bio-diesel, to natural medicine, from anthropology, to mathematics, politics, astrotheology,self awareness, self sustainability, artistic expression, freedom, and everything in between.
There will also be several ceremony's throughout the event including a welcoming ceremony on the Friday night and a main stage opening ceremony.
