Made in China is a darkly comic play that bears witness to what happens when kung fu meets Tarantino on a Melbourne stage.

The criminal underbelly of Dublin, set in Ireland 1996. Hughie, Paddy and Kilby are all about 'the biz'. Hughie wants out, Paddy wants in, and Kilby, well, he just thinks HE IS the biz. Blending long stretches of male relationship-driven narrative and interchange into a violent but funny plot, it combines wickedly comic dialogue with Kung-Fu-Irish-gangster-violence to create a theatrical punch to the stomach you'll feel long after the show has ended.

Mark O'Rowe is best known for the verbal pyrotechnics of his monologue plays 'Howie the Rookie' and 'Crestfall'. Dark narratives are woven with gritty imagery and poetic dialogue that makes even the base and violent beautiful.

You'll find TBC Theare on Facebook. 'Like' them and you'll never have to miss out on any of their creative productions. It's also a great way to keep you in the 'know' of what they're up to. Start booking so as not to disappoint.
