Off the well-known tracks of suburbia, down a little road, off Maud Street in Norval Court, Maroochydore, you'll find . have only been going for a few short months, but have a wonderful philosophy to life, wanting to leave memorable imprints rather than scarring footprints.

To this end, is partnering with the local community to ensure they nurture a lasting impression. proudly use 'Stock It', a locally owned distributor of sustainable and fully biodegradable eco-friendly food and drink packaging.

This new Cafe also uses locally owned and ethically sourced Kai Coffee, who sponsor children in need in countries like Africa, Asia and South America. This is accomplished by sponsoring a child with World Vision, after every five kilogrammes of Kai Coffee being sold. Kai Coffee also have an orphanage in Uganda called the Shepherd Center that they support through their very own espresso bar.

You might remember a previous article of mine, Espresso XO Mobile Cafe , who also source their coffee through Kai Coffee, ensuring that your coffee hit has a local and global knock-on effect.

I digress! Back to . also support the Sumatran Tiger through Kai Coffees speciality Sumatran coffee blend, thereby assisting with programmes that diligently work to save this iconic species.

We visited on a Saturday and as this is predominantly an office/industrial area, were delighted to find easy parking and the Cafe virtually all to ourselves. With indoor and outdoor very comfy lounge furnishings and a fireplace burning brightly indoors, the ambience was one of welcoming comfort. All I needed to do, was order our coffees, kick off my shoes and curl up on to a couch to enjoy the relaxing surrounds. I must mention here that the day we visited it was a gloomy, rainy sort of day on the Sunshine Coast. Hard to believe? I know.

Predominantly a very comfy coffee outlet with free wi-fi, don't have a menu but have a range of sweet and savoury delicacies to enjoy with your coffee. With weekly and daily specials, you might be tempted to buy a wrap for lunch and get your coffee free (this was the Monday special advertised on the day we visited).

also have a loyalty card, buy seven coffees and get your eighth one free - easy one, especially with the coffee being so delish! Perhaps you're on the run and don't have time to sit back and enjoy the ambience, have you covered - buy a coffee to take away and you'll be delighted with an encouraging message on the lid - it's the little things that count!

I love to support the local 'little' man…ummm, cafe - and firmly believe that is one for your to-do-list - with such beneficial programmes attached to having a coffee, it makes is so much easier for us coffee drinkers to keep on latte-ing!
