The Aireys Inlet Tourism and Traders Association has combined with the Surf Coast Shire to come up with a program of
events allowing visitors to enjoy local art, music, food, activities and entertainment all winter long at this great little coastal village dominated by the imposing split Point Lighthouse.
Now in its eleventh year this year will feature events including a Tastes of Japan Dinner on Friday and Saturday 22nd & 23rd of June, a Sea Shepherd fundraiser at the Aireys pub on Friday 13th July, the inaugural Mini Golf Championship at Great Ocean Road Mini Golf, Adults and Kids Trivia events, Salsa lessons and dance exhibitions at the Aireys pub, Split Point Lighthouse tours… the list goes on and on.
Situated on the Great Ocean Road between Anglesea and Lorne Aireys Inlet offers visitors beautiful beaches and spectacular ocean cliffs together with picturesque hinterland and easy access to the Great Otway National Park.
Take a tour of the Split Point Lighthouse, built in 1891 and still an important player in ensuring the safety of ships at sea, and you'll be blown away by the stunning views from high up in the lantern room and on the external balcony.
provides a long list of opportunities to enjoy Aireys Inlet and this spectacular part of the Victorian coastline. Be sure to visit www.aireysinlet.org.au for a full list of events.
Aireys Inlet is 124 Kilometres southwest of Melbourne, about a 1 Hour 40 Minute drive via the M1/Princes Freeway, the C134 and B100.
