Live a life, Love our life... Have a great weekend ^_^

If you are an Eamon Sullivan fan, you probably would want to check out this newly opened Louis Baxters - Espresso Bar Cafe, located in one of Perth's high end suburbs, Subiaco. Okay, let's not focus on the celebrity, let's talk about the coffee and I have to say I had one of the best coffees I have had in Perth at Louis Baxters. Having said that, some of my friends reckon the coffee there is a bit too strong, I guess it is up to individual taste. They serve Campos Coffee, which is one of the Eastern States most famous coffees. To be honest, I have never heard of this name, but no doubt, it is a good coffee. And surprisingly, it is not that expensive as I thought it would be. The large coffee is only $4.50 and the small one is $3.80; it is cheaper than another famous café across the street.

Of course they don't just serve coffee. They also do breakfast and brunch. The menu is not extensive but they offer a pretty good range. From the breakfast menu, I tried poached eggs, Spanish eggs and the raspberry and white chocolate muffin. There were no disappointments. From the lunch menu, I tried the roasted lamb sandwich, poached chicken baguette and the caesar salad and once again, there were no disappointments. It is true that the portion of food is small for the price you paid (around $12), but they are just enough to fill you up.

For dessert, try Eamon's famous signature Chocolate Delice, which won the perfect score from the judges in Celebrity MasterChef 2009. Yes, it is on the menu ($12 each), however, there is recipe in Eamon's cookbook. So if you don't want to pay a premium price for it, you can at least try to make it.

And finally you are welcome to bring your four legged friends with you (so long as they are behaved). Louis Baxters' has dog bowls filled with water for your convenience.

They open from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 6pm during weekdays and 8am to 5pm on Saturday. A funky cafe option if you want to catch up with your friends on the weekend around Subiaco Square.
