Running from the 14th – 29th September, the event has something for everyone. There are child friendly screenings of Wes Anderson's latest, Roald Dahl's
Fantastic Mr.Fox, plus gala screenings of new releases including Grant Heslov's The Men Who Stare at Goats and Bright Star - the story of the romance between the poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne - starring Ben Wishaw and Abbie Cornish, along with many, many more fantastic viewing opportunities.
The regular free outdoor screening in Trafalgar Square this year is a montage of 20 short films about travelling in the capital – ranging from clips of Victorian ladies in 1896 to modern travellers today, all set to live piano accompaniment. The screening takes place on the 22nd October this year.
There will also be talks with, to name just a few, director Gaspar Noé, auteur André Téchiné, and a host of
production designers on how they create their masterpieces. Please check the site for dates, venues and prices.
