LOITERING, an act society has muddied by negative assumptions is making a comeback in a suburb near you.

Shopping centers, car parks, train stations and parks are all likely venues which can be utilised for a healthy session of loitering.

The action of loitering has been frowned upon by authorities as a function served only to disrupt the peace and create an environment for shady dealings.

This authoritative frown is about to turn upside down as respectable citizens grab their friends, iPhones and snacks for a social loiter.

Legal loitering builds a sense of community among the neighborhood. Strangers meet and friends are formed in front of a public backdrop.

Cafes are too confining, pubs too noisy and homes too homely for a gathering which promotes neighborhood watch in a setting created by you.

Being an opportunist activity, flexibility and variation of city/country scapes are vital to create a positive atmosphere in which loitering can be experienced to its full potential.

So try this free form of entertainment and explore the city loiter style.
