Want to make your own cheese or bread, brew your own beer or grow organic vegetables? These and other sustainable gardening, sustainable cooking and sustainable living techniques are being taught via CERES' Living Green Workshops.
Leading the way to healthy, sustainable living, CERES' Living Green Workshops are a great way to get yourself out of big brand supermarkets and into the garden. Highly practical, they teach useful skills that will enhance participants' lives (as well as their friends lives who get to experience the outcome - homemade cheese, bread or fruit wine anyone?).
Not only focused on homemade foods, the workshops also include crafts such as basket weaving, braiding and paper making, as well as talks on interesting topics such as chemicals in the home, backyard medicine and understanding soil.
Bookings for CERES's autumn workshop program, which includes a huge range of topics from permaculture to sausage making, chook care to basket weaving and much more, are now open.
The full program is available on CERES' website
here and as these workshops are bound to sell out fast, with some already having sold out, it's best to get in there quick.
If you miss out, join the mailing list so you get first pick of the organically-made, fresh-off-the-tree bunch when the next group of workshops is released. Upcoming workshops are updated regularly.
Inspiring better living, CERES' Living Green Workshops are good for the soul and the environment. Get inspired and get creating a better world full of homemade foods, healthy eats and sustainable hobbies for yourself and your friends.
