After months of watching the construction near the beach in Southbank, you may have noticed that a new place has taken shape and come into being. Curiosity at the thought of a new venue to see, or the luxury of having some place new to take your sweetie may tempt you to give it a go.

The has sprung up out of the dust of the construction site. There are no more trucks, or sounds of banging and rattling going on. It is a whole new environment. The leather topped bar stools, the stone pots, wooden railings and the industrial shelving units that perform double duty as outer walls, come together to make this a feast for your eyes. Make sure you look up or down, depending on where you are, at the unique steer head and cow hide adornment, taking centre stage in the middle of the bar area. You will love the openness with its airy feel to enjoy those lovely Queensland nights.

The eclectic style spreads itself over 3 floors. Each space has been named for a different view. The River room, aptly named, finds you situated looking out across the pool at the river and the sky scrapers that sit along the Riverside Express. The Plaza Balcony is a more lively space for people watching and an easy escape out onto the Stanley Plaza when you are finished. The Beach Deck sits adjacent to the Beach at Southbank and is a great meeting place.

Are you popping in to have a drink before a show? Maybe you are in the area and have decided that you will watch the colourful parade that is winding its way along the Clem Jones Esplanade. Perhaps you want to stick around for a couple of hours chatting to friends.

Coming here is easy. There are certainly a number of options to choose from. Lunch and dinner give you quite a lot to think about. There are cocktail packages or dinner packages, amongst others. You can rent whole rooms for business functions or Christmas parties, Melbourne Cup parties or small family gatherings.

The menu, for the average family, will be quite pricey so you may choose to just come for a couple of drinks and find a cheaper venue for dinner because the views are stunning and worth a look.

It seems that corporate functions or weddings may be more the clientele that is being sought here. They boast a good steak, however, so you will have to decide for yourself. We had craft beer and wine, enjoyed the view and went off to eat in a more budget friendly place.
