in Mosman suburb of Sydney, is located next to Taronga Zoo and is accessible by ferry by getting off at the Athol Wharf. Its main attraction is a tiny beach, childrens playground and a big park.

It is a fabulous location to see the day-to-day life in Sydney with local residents enjoying a stroll, kids playing on the fine, light sand or walking their dogs.

This beach is a small cute one with good facilities like bathrooms, showers, changing rooms, barbecue facilities and a few picnic tables. This beach is dog friendly and dogs are allowed to roam unleashed on weekdays and before 9am and after 4pm on weekends.

Sirius Cove has a bushland and foreshore reserve, and the beach is surrounded on both sides by walking trails. To enjoy a nice walk you may try the walking track from Mosman Bay to Sirius Cove bay or the walk from the Cove around Little Sirius Point and Whiting Beach to Taronga Zoo Wharf is also well worth the effort for its constant views of the city across the harbour.

If you want to have a few quiet minutes soaking in normal Sydney life after touring the Taronga zoo, this is a good place to go.
