At just over ten dollars, the Friend Chicken Kapitan is a very filling and delicious meal. The fried chicken is somewhat reminiscent of KFC, except they are far more generous with the chicken, and the recipe is from Singapore, not Kentucky, obviously. The little dome of white rice is cooked to perfection - nice and fluffy, just how I like it - and along with the steamed vegetables, provides enough "greens" to make you feel at least a little healthy. Although you are not really sampling the delights of actual Singaporean cuisine, it's still a great meal at a great price.
