Little Manly Point is located near Little Manly Beach – just a few minutes walk from Manly Wharf.
Originally known as Manly Gasworks, Little Manly Point was cleaned up a few years ago and converted into a stunning park with million dollar views of the city.
The park has everything one needs for the perfect day out. You can swim at Little Manly Beach, go fishing off the point, enjoy a BBQ or a picnic and for children, there is a great playground, lots of grassy areas to play on and a footpath for riding scooters or bikes or roller blading.
As Little Manly Point is located between little Manly Beach and Colin's Flat, you have a choice of swimming locations. While Little Manly Beach has a shark net, swings, a small café and amenities, Colin's Flat is secluded and usually very quiet, making it ideal for those wishing to relax. The beaches are protected, so there are no waves and as such both are suitable for families with young children.
There is a small carpark at the top of Little Manly Point and also street parking, although this can get busy on the weekends. If you are coming by public transport, you can catch the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly Wharf and walk over the small small hill which takes approximately 10 minutes. Alternatively if you are arriving by bus, get off at the last stop at Manly Wharf.
For lunch, head down to the Little Manly Kiosk for sandwiches, hot food, coffee and ice cream or venture down to Manly, where you will find a big selection of cafes, restaurants, take away shops and supermarkets.
Because of its stunning views, Little Manly Point is a popular wedding location. If you are considering holding your wedding there,or any functions contact Manly Council for more information.
