Do you like art?Do you like going to the markets?Do you like scones, jam and cream?Do you want somewhere to take the kids to have fun?

The Holy Family Primary School at Lindfield is holding their 39th Lindfield Art Show and Fair from Friday the 13th of March to Sunday the 15th of March 2015. It will be a celebration of community and art. The Lindfield Art Show and Fair offers a fun-filled weekend for the whole family.

The Lindfield Art Show and Fair is centred around the Lindfield Art Show which showcases an extensive range of affordable, quality and collectible art, from contemporary to traditional, and award-winning established artists to emerging artists.

With more than 300 artworks on display, you will find featured paintings, screen-prints, indigenous works, etchings, sculptures, paper art, and more. The Show offers collectors and art lovers the chance to admire and purchase high quality artwork from a broad range of artists at every price point.

SO WHAT CAN YOU DO THERE?Cocktail Party. Friday 13th of March: 7.30pm to 11.30pm

On Friday, why don't you attend the fabulous opening night Cocktail Party, where attendees can take advantage of the first opportunity to view and purchase from the amazing selection of quality artworks on display.

To me it sounds like a great opportunity to dress up, meet and talk to some of the artists while having canapés and drinks. The cost is $45 per person and includes drinks and canapés.

Art Show. (Free entry)Saturday 14th March: 9am - 5pmSunday 15th March: 9am - 2pm

The Linfield Art Show and Fair has over 90 artists exhibiting over the three days so I would be very surprised if you didn't find a piece that you would like to take home and hang somewhere in your house. Maybe you would be looking for a painting that you could give to a friend or as a birthday present.

Having looked on the Lindfield Art Show and Fair website, I have picked out a couple of the 64 artists displayed that have appealed to me.

They are:

• Jennifer Gowen; Jennifer was born in South Devon, England and, as a child, immigrated to Australia. She has been involved in the art world for more than 30 years. Whilst working for the Illawarra Daily Mercury in Wollongong, she developed an interest in fine arts and was chosen to co-ordinate the Wollongong City/Illawarra Daily Mercury Fusion Art Festival judged by Tom Gleghorn.

Jan Schuster-Callus; Jan's studio is in the St George area of Sydney Australia and her medium is mostly oils but work in watercolours and pen and ink, children on the beach playing, Australian birds in a palm tree, just to name a few. Jan likes to capture life as we live it, not posed. Sans Souci area has been the inspiration for most of my paintings as well as Carrs Park, Cronulla and my own backyard.

• Tim Roediger; Is an artist from the Lower Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, Australia. His work explores the interface between suburbia and the bush and is held in numerous private collections.

As you are walking around, you also have the chance to stop and listen at one of the various "Artist Encounters."

So what is an "Artist Encounter?" It will be a programme of events that will be held on Saturday the 14th of March which will highlight the work of a select group of their 2015 artists.

Kids Activities.

Saturday 14th March: 9:30am - 4.00pm

The Holy Family Art Festival has so much on offer for kids of all ages; they won't know where to begin! Along with traditional favourites, like face painting and lolly bags, there is a dedicated Sports Zone with a giant slide, jumping castle and loads of fun sporting activities like soccer shoot out and basketball toss.

In the Crafts Zone, there is a quality range of kids' craft activities for creatively minded boys and girls, providing a chance for them create everything from sand art to painted pet rocks.

This year, they are excited to have Dance1 at the Fair. They will be holding dance workshop sessions throughout the day in the entertainment stage area. Kids (or Mums and Dads) can learn some new dance moves and have fun on stage with their friends. Look out for their workshop times when they post their program of events.

To beat the rush, you can even purchase your tickets to the Kids Zone in advance. Click here for more information.

Market Stalls & Fair.

Saturday 14th March: 9:30am - 4.00pm

This year's Exhibitor's Market features a gorgeous range of market stalls for you to browse through, treat yourself, find the perfect gift, or all three!

Whether your weakness is beautiful jewellery, fashionable home wares, unique accessories, or handcrafted fashion for you or your kids, you will find it at the Art Fair Exhibitor's Market. The hardest part will be making your choice!

They have been working hard to introduce some new and exciting exhibitors as well as bringing back some of our all-time favourites. Keep watching the list below to see who will be exhibiting at the Fair in 2015.

There is no shortage of food options for you to choose from on the day of the Fair, ranging from the traditional favourites to their new Bubbles and Sandwich Bar, so sit down, refuel and relax while the school band entertains you.

It can't be a Fair without the all-time favourites: gelato, candy floss, lolly bags, you name it, they have it! Or why don't you visit their gourmet café area where you can sit down, relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee along with a selection of homemade scones, cakes and slices. The café also sells a selection of handmade fresh bread rolls and sandwiches.

If you're after something more substantial, the traditional BBQ is up and running from 9.30am selling egg and bacon rolls for the early risers and then moving onto the ever popular sausage and steak sandwiches after 11am.

This year they are introducing their new Bubbles and Sandwich Bar. Leave the kids having fun in the Kidz Zone area, and pop upstairs for a cold glass of bubbles with a delicious chicken sandwich.
