The Leukaemia Foundation is an organisation that raises money for Australian families affected by blood cancer. The Leukaemia Foundation holds walks across Australia to raise money for the families affected by blood cancer. This money raised means that the families can be offered free emotional and practical support when they need it. Money raised also helps to fund research to find the cure for blood cancers.
Particpants can register for the walk, knowing that the money raised from their registration goes to a worthy cause. Register for the event and ask your family, friends and workmates for donations.
As you join the Leukaemia Foundation's "Light the Night Walk", and register for the event and walk, you will be helping to brighten the lives of people living with blood cancer.
The Light the Night event takes place across Australia each October. You can register and walk. Light the Night is a one night event at each city that it is held. Walk on one night across Australia.
Each event is an inspiring night, where lanterns are lit, and event participants raise funds to walk, and all money raised is in aid of Australian families affected by blood cancer. The money raised will fund research and support of families. The presence of so many people joining together for this event will lift many hearts as participants walk in hope for a future free of blood cancer.
Choose which colored Lantern you will carry. There are Gold Lanterns to remember someone. White Lanterns for your own blood cancer journey or Blue Lanterns to show you care.
If you cannot attend a walk, you can buy a lantern and the money raised assists with research, while you shine your lantern at home.
Please note: If you have registered for the walk on the website, you will receive a lantern. You don't need to buy a lantern in advance.
