Help those who help those with cancer.

The Leukaemia Foundation is once again hosting the 'Light The Night' walk on 9th October 2015.

Each day across Australia there are 34 people diagnosed with a blood cancer. Currently, there are more than 60,000 people living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or a related blood disorder.

The event is a major fundraiser for the charity. With monies raised, they hope to find a cure for blood cancer as well as offering support and services for those who are fighting it.

On the night of October 9th, each person who registers will carry a coloured lantern. The colour varies depending on your reason for support. Blue means that you care, gold is to remember a loved one and white is for those who have blood cancer

Please get involved and make a donation . Any amount, when made by many, can make a difference.

Go to the Leukaemia Foundation website to register and find an event near you.

I am registered for the walk in Victoria Square and will be there with my blue lantern. I hope to see you there too.
