Chatswood is full of cafes and eateries, but sometimes it can be a struggle to find a quiet place to sit down. Lid & Jar is one of the newest hipster additions to Chatswood. As if 'Jar' in the name of the cafe wasn't enough, they have stacks of jars for drinks, shelves lined with books, smaller jars for sugar and filament light bulbs.

You can sit outside on Victoria Avenue or sit upstairs near the Concourse, where there's some greenery. The key thing about coming here is the atmosphere.





Go ahead and order at the register and the staff will bring your order to you. They are lovely by the way, they really look after you A few highlights are the iced tea, lemonade and soft shell crab sliders. A speciality is their Lid burger, made with beef, mushroom, cheese and veggies. Or, maybe the chicken burger tickles your fancy.



Next time you're catching up with friends, meet at Lid & Jar. They're also open from breakfast to dinner and take bookings. If you're not around Chatswood, they're also setup in Rhodes. Catering options available too.
