If you are a fan of Thai cuisine don't look any further than Lemon Leaf in Wantirna South. I've eaten here twice now and have just booked it for my work Christmas function.
The food is modern Thai and there are 4 menus - lunch, dinner, take-away and cocktails. The service is excellent, almost to good in fact! My only tiny criticism is they tend to over service, but, hey, better that then sitting there waiting, waiting, waiting.
They serve the best massaman curry I've ever eaten - Beef $21.80 Lamb $22.80, and there is a mountain of it, you won't go home hungry. It's a great menu with lots to choose from and they also have a 'chilli' rating that lets you know how hot a dish is, very handy if you are a bit of a sook like me.
All cocktails are $13 which is very reasonable and there are several to choose from. It's not BYO but we bought a great bottle of wine, again at a good price. Thai beer is on the menu too and that's 'buy 2 get 1 free'. All major credit cards are accepted.
The
website is excellent and from there I learnt that their chef has a 5 star hotel rating and that they are very community conscious, supporting the likes of Royal Children Hospital, 3ZZZ Melbourne Ethnic Community Radio and international sports activities.

As the restaurant is located in the heart of the Knox Ozone dining and entertainment complex, after you have eaten it's a 1 minute stroll to Village Cinemas or a nightclub. Whatever takes your fancy.
