If you are looking for a less crowded dog beach, then look no further than the beach by Leeman's Landing, to the south of the southern groin at Two Rocks Beach, Two Rocks.

We were introduced to this wonderful beach by friends who had recently discovered this little gem.

It is much wider than any other dog beach we have been to, with plenty of room for the dogs to run and run. We met very few other dog walkers, so it's perfect for your timid dog that stresses at the other more popular, busy dog beaches.

There is a bit of beach combing to be done here to entertain you and the kids too.

And so much room to let the dogs run wild, which I may have mentioned already.

This spot is a historic site and the monument near the car park explains that in 1658 Samuel Volkersen mapped the coastline whilst searching for survivors of the wrecked ship Vergulde Draeck. Everyday is a school day.

There is a reasonable size car park and a short walk will bring you to a few basic but ample amenities. There is a BBQ, toilets, covered picnic tables and chairs, a shower, water fountain and small playground. It's perfect for summer and winter visits and school holiday fun.
