How Much Does it Costa to See Costa Georgiadis, host of Gardening Australia? Nothing! It's FREE!

What's kid friendly, environmentally friendly and friendly on the wallet too? If you answered LEAF Logan Eco Action Festival then you're not only right, you're also skilled at remembering the title of the article you're reading. The event is free for the whole family and it sounds like it's going to be an absolute hoot! It will be held from 10am to 3pm on Sunday the 28th of May in the lead up to World Environment Day.

Australia's favourite gardener, Costa Georgiadis, host of ABC TV's Gardening Australia, will be planting fresh ideas on sustainable living at this year's festival. He's not the only famous face who will be in attendance. You can dance to the tunes of award-winning blues and roots artist Ash Grunwald at LEAF Logan Eco Action Festival. Local musicians including The Twine will be providing music throughout the day, too.

There's plenty of fun in store for the kids in the LEAF adrenaline zone. There they'll find an array of activities including rock climbing, jumping castles, giant slides and face painting. There will even be henna body art, wildlife shows and more.

It's not all for the kids though, grown ups will dig the informative demonstrations and workshops. You can learn to make your own kimchi, cheese and sugar-free jams. There are up-cycling workshops, native plant stalls and the chance to indulge in some of the best healthy and organic food and coffee around.

Event organisers say, "The free festival has been running since 2010, attracting thousands of eco-friendly guests annually partaking in workshops on keeping backyard chickens, bee-keeping and sustainable lifestyles."

"This free community festival welcomes everyone from all ages to attend and be actively involved in a fun and inspiring program."
