If you can't fly to Lebanon, well, Lebanon can come to you.

At the heart of Abu Dhabi Arabian mall, Al Mushrif Mall, Le Terrace Café and Restaurant Lebanese is to the very soul, a place to dream of, as you try to escape your daily hassles and enjoy the greenhouse effect mood.

Placed on the third floor of the mall, a duplex, Le Terrace Café and Restaurant is a haven for those who seek art, landscape, warm family time and of course a Lebanese feel. With its glass like veranda, oriental menu, little water springs and bloomy greeneries, you will get to book a seat on cloud 5 and enjoy a view from top.

You can laze inside and relish a blend of Arabian flair and mouthwatering desserts display or you could step outside in the fresh air, dimming airplane glow and a view of Abu Dhabi best architectural works.

Aside from the Lebanese soundtrack and staff too, they offer a paramount selection of 7 days' Arabian nibbles and banquets. Every day at Le Terrace Café and Restaurant is a national Arabian day where you get to taste a different country signature dish; it's like a daily theme plate special that you won't find anywhere but on this terrace;

Saturday
Chicken biryani
Kebbeh in yoghurt
Okra with white rice

Sunday
Stuffed lamb
Chicken Mulukhia
Meatball stew with rice

Monday
Fish Sayadiyah
Chicken kary
White beans with rice

Tuesday

Shakrieh
Stew potato with rice

Wednesday

Chicken with potato
Stuffed eggplant

Thursday

Friday

Frike beef & chicken

So choose your day wisely and don't get addicted. This odd mix is complemented by hot and cold brews, along with pies and as I said before, luscious desserts baked on site.

I loved their Tiramisu Cake, it was thick, moist and creamy, of course the espresso powder made me hyper till 4 am that day, but I can't wait to try other cakes on my next visit. Yes, my husband and I go there a lot, since we live outside Abu Dhabi and at the same time I need a place where my husband can drink double espresso while smoking and I can shop, Le Terrace Café and Restaurant at Al Mushrif Mall is the nearest most perfect spot for a traffic- free getaway.
