"OMG let's go to late night tonight." That's the typical line of the underaged kids who have nowhere else to really hang out during the evenings, with no car and no permission.

Late nights are, however, becoming more and more popular for different people of all ages due to the long amount of working hours daily.

There are jobs which require you to start before 9am and finish after 5pm, thus not allowing you to do the shopping and leaving it all up to the weekend. What happens if you have an important date, a birthday or a gathering to attend on that weekend? How could you possible fit al of that in when you are at work during the peak hours of the shopping centres and small shops being open?

This is the reason that late night shopping is a big help for the whole community, not just here in Queensland, but also in different States of Australia. Queensland has the traditional Thursday night late night shopping where large shopping centres and small shops are open until 9pm.

This gives people a chance to purchase what they need for the week or the weekend and a time to catch up with friends for a coffee, all while you look forward to finishing work and going out.

Some of the best shopping centres to go to in Queensland are Pacific Fair, Robina Town Centre, Australia Fair, Harbour Town, Garden City and Hyperdome. All of these open until 9pm every Thursday night.
