A true life adventure that took over 45 years to film will be travelling around the country shortly. In the tradition of the old travelling picture man shows of last century, the promoter of this film has decided to take this film on the road with special event screenings in cities and regional towns.

Starting in the remote wilderness of New Zealand and Australia, when necessity was the mother of invention, a maverick bunch of kids began experimenting with something that would change the world of adventure travel. See how these early adrenaline seekers invented ways of pursuing their goals and in some cases a lifestyle now gone.

There is also an environmental message that if we destroy the pristine wilderness through modern development then what will be left for kids to appreciate? They will be tomorrow's protectors while they play in it today.

In Perth you can see this film at Luna Cinemas in Leederville on Friday 2 May at 6.20pm or at Hoyts Millenium Cinema in Fremantle on Tuesday 6 May at 7.00pm.

At the screenings will be special guest author and environmentalist Tim Winton who will introduce filmmaker Clive Neeson's feature film, with a Q&A session following the film screening.

Tickets are $20 each or $15 for all concessions.

Running time is 94 minutes and is suitable for all ages.
This film has received several awards.
