Adventure World in Bibra Lake has just re-opened for the season. It's open 7 days a week during the school holidays, from 10am till 5pm, and has loads of fun rides and attractions, including some new ones.
Over at
Coventry Village in Morley, there will be a fantastic three day Mardi Gras. There will be carnival style entertainment, flame performances, live jazz music, drummers, snake shows, magician acts, clowns, stilt walkers and much more.
The popular
Fremantle Markets will be open all Long Weekend, and so will the
E-Shed Markets . Pop down to Freo for a little relaxation, grab a coffee or lunch and wander the markets looking for a bargain.
Visit
Kings Park and have a picnic, or take a trip to a wildlife park such as
Caversham Wildlife Park ,
Cohuna Wildlife Park , or the ever popular
Perth Zoo .
Most Shopping Centres are open on the Long Weekend so you can get in a spot or retail therapy or maybe start your Christmas Shopping early.
Movie Theatres, such as
Hoyts , are open on the Long Weekend. Take in a new movie, such as R.I.P.D., Red 2, Now You See Me or Riddick or take the kids along to see Smurfs 2, Turbo or Planes.
These are just a few suggestions for this upcoming Long Weekend. Of course you could just take it easy at home, but if your looking for something to do, there's plenty out there.
