A gorgeous location right on the lake front, Lake Moogerah Caravan Park offers camping spots, van sites and has one cabin available for rent. Other cabins located on the property are privately owned and not available for rent.

If you really like seclusion then there is another option. There is a Lake House available for rent which you also book through the caravan park, located around 3 kilometres away (by road), from the park. This Lake House is in a very quiet location and it has it's own private lake views.

Located in the heart of the scenic rim around 90 minutes from Brisbane, one of the best things about this place is, you can motor around the lake in your own boat or hire the BBQ boat anytime. Consider a sunset cruise during the evening.

Onsite facilities include a laundry, camp fire pits, boat ramps, shaded areas, fishing permits, amenities blocks, electric and wood BBQs, kiosk and children's playground.

[ADVERT]Additionally not far away is the Lake Moogerah Cafe, overlooking the picturesque Haigh Park on the shores of Lake Moogerah. Nice and simple food offerings include light meals, tasty take-away food as well as coffee, teas, milkshakes, cold drinks and ice creams. Although the cafe is open mainly during the day, (except Monday and Tuesday), they will happily open for you and your guests for the evening as part of a small to medium group if you make arrangements directly with them. Contact for Lake Moogerah Cafe is (07) 5463 0091.

The scenery in this region is spectacular and if you do bring your own boat you can discover different aspects of the lake.

Don't forget the camera if you're into photography. Another angle of the lake (taken in front of the Lake House) posted on Weekend Notes can be found here.
