Lake Breeze Wines at Langhorne Creek

One of the most storied family wineries in
Langhorne Creek is Lake Breeze.
The Follett family have lived there since the 1850's, growing grapes making outstanding wine since 1987. Before that they grew grapes for contract sale and ran a dairy. Lake Breeze is named after the summer breezes that come across Lake Alexandrina and the Coorong cooling the harvest to make some of the best Red Wines in the country. Award winning wines are the result, the most renowned being the Lake Breeze Benoota, a Shiraz Cabernet blend.
My personal favorite, always in short supply is the Lake Breeze Grenache which comes from a small patch of very old vines.
Each year Lake Breeze hosts a picnic day in October and the
Handpicked Festival in November, this year featuring the Veronica's and British India.
Now sporting a new Function Centre, and a beautiful picnic ground you can make the most of any occasion at Lake Breeze.
