The Ladybird Market brings their popular Pop Up Market back to Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre on Saturday 29 April, 9am-5pm.
This carefully curated boutique market showcases a large range of WA creative small businesses, alongside some of Perth's best local makers, creators and designers in a unique pop-up style market place inside Perth's largest shopping centre.
Lisa Hurley started The Ladybird Market two years ago, as she felt there was a need for high quality handmade-only markets in Perth, especially north of the city. Lisa is passionate about supporting and promoting small creative businesses and each Ladybird Market pop up market is a carefully curated event with strictly WA handmade and WA designed wares so you know you are purchasing an item which has been lovingly handcrafted or designed by local Perth creatives.
The Ladybird Market has taken part in four large street festivals with their own street of 40 plus stalls, including Mt Hawthorn Streets and Laneways Festival 2015 and 2016, Vic Park Summer Street Party 2015, Light Up Leederville Carnival 2016 and they have been invited to take part again in this year's Mount Hawthorn Festival on 7th May 2017 for the third year running.
The handpicked stalls offer a diverse range of high quality items, including artwork, candles, decor items, art prints, skincare, beauty products, jewellery, clothing, kids accessories, unique gifts, sweet treats and much more. There's sure to be something for everyone!
Entry is FREE and absolutely everyone is welcome to come along and celebrate Perth's many talented makers and designers.
There is also plenty of parking at the centre and as well as the treats you'll find at the market, there is also plenty of food options close to the market area so you can come and make a day of it!
