It may not mean that men are completely superfluous (yet), but Bunnings' are running workshops for women who want to know how to do those household errands or DIY jobs themselves, and the workshops are free.

So whether you are flying solo and proud of it, or your partner has 10 thumbs (and they are all on the TV remote control most of the time), here is the chance to learn to do-it-yourself.

The workshops are usually on a weeknight in the evening and are designed to be fun. Different nights can cover different topics; drilling, sanding, painting, plumbing and more. It's best to contact your nearest Bunnings to book or register interest.

There are 10 Bunnings stores in Adelaide; Windsor Gardens, Marion, Oakland's Park, City (Kent Street), Woodville (Port Road), Modbury, Mile End, Parafield, Noarlunga and Munno Para.

So, stop waiting girls, stop nagging and start doing.
