Broadbeach has an exciting and delicious array of dining options and La Porchetta , an Italian restaurant is definitely one of them. If you enjoy hearty Italian food, made with love, then this is the place for you. I've had birthday parties, romantic dates and family gatherings there and each time the service was immaculate, the food amazing, and the vibe, infectiously fun.



You would think a place that provides all of this would be an expensive dining affair, but not La Porchetta. You can get a small pizza (when Italians say "small", trust me, it's never that small!) for around $11. Entrée pasta between $14-$16 and a main for $18-$19. I found the entrée pasta to be sufficient enough for a main meal, but if you are feeling very hungry, opt for the main and you can always doggy bag the rest for later. A selection of main meals including Veal or Chicken Schnitzel, Grilled Prawns, Fried Calamari and many more tasty options, ranging between $23 - $28. If you somehow don't fill up on these meals and are craving a little more, then there is also an enticing dessert menu, all desserts under $8.

The last time I was there, I noticed the Cocktail menu and couldn't resist, especially when I saw that all the cocktails were under $10. Finding a cheap cocktail list in Broadbeach, is like finding a needle in a haystack. I was very enthusiastic with this find, so I figured I should reward myself with a few different cocktails. What an excellent choice, as they were both the best cocktails I have had anywhere (trust me, I've tasted many!)



I suggest next time you are rome-ing around Broadbeach looking for somewhere to eat, you go to La Porchetta.
