La Citta Restaurant is conveniently located on the quieter end of Degraves Street, and if it wasn't for the hint of arrogance in the wait staff this restaurant would be truly exceptional. For an Italian restaurant, the pasta is a little hit and miss. You can do much better on the pasta in Melbourne, although for something completely different; their steak is just adorable. Tender and juicy with an exceptional taste without feeling too chewy or burnt. To a degree, I like it here.

Great ambience. It so does not feel like you are eating out at Melbourne. Has that real European feel, and with great company this establishment is just truly exceptional. My only other complaint would be when it comes to their prices. Do not expect the cheapest pasta or steak in town either. If you want to lash out in this end of the city once in a while, you are home and hosed at this establishment.
