It is one of the best places to see the New year fireworks and also provides fabulous views of the harbour during the day. Kurraba Point Reserve in Neutral Bay is located at the end of Kurraba Road and is easily reachable by taking a ferry from Circular Quay till Kurraba Point in Neutral Bay.

The reserve is a public park with a carpet of grass that leads right down to the waters edge for brilliant views of the Sydney Harbour. You can immerse yourself in watching the sunset, the yachts sailing by or a fisherman trying to catch some fish.

This peaceful reserve also houses a playground, shaded grassy areas and is apt for a nice picnic with the family. Often you might find that the reserve is a popular spot for locals who like to exercise in between green surroundings that has splendid views of the city. The view encompasses the sparking sea and a lookout across Neutral bay over to Kirribilli.

It is a cosy spot to enjoy a picnic lunch or just some peaceful time by the waters edge.
