What could be more quaint and pleasant than escaping to a seaside village for a good, old fashioned knitting session at a popular local restaurant?
Knit a Bit on Thursday is a new event taking place at
Cafe Ibiza in Avalon (
47 Old Barrenjoey Road). The experience will be a weekly meet up for novice and intermediate crafters and those looking for company while knitting or crocheting. Cafe Ibiza will provide a venue to work on your project and expert instructors; participants will need to bring their own knitting needles or crocheting hook and yarn.
This event will commence on Thursday 5 May and will take place every Thursday from 10.00am until 11.30am. Each session will cost $10.50, which includes morning tea and knitting or crocheting instruction if necessary. Participants can make a booking by calling (02) 9918 3965 or by showing up at Cafe Ibiza on Thursday mornings.
