Kerbside Lounge Bar (
Constance Street, Fortitude Valley) is the latest, too-cool-for-school inner city bar. The venue; a converted drive through bottle store that is tucked away in Fortitude Valley's backstreets. The gimmick; decor courtesy of kerbside collection. This laneway bar is chock full of trash and treasure finds, from the mismatched couches and armchairs to the Kamahl record wall – all artistically arranged by professional interior designers, of course.
Kerbside offers snacks and cafe style dining, a huge range of non-alcoholic drinks (tea, coffee, milkshakes, juices and soft drinks) and a bar offering appropriately named cocktails like The Granny Flat. The lounge also has free Wi-Fi and music.
